I am giving this 3 stars because my 9 year old son really liked the grilled cheese at this restaurant. With that being said, they had no happy hour prices for food or drinks. The salsa served to the table was kind of bland and the chips were thicker and not very good. We got 2 large beers which were over $22 dollars, which is a ridiculous price for any, non craft, run of the mill beer. For adults we got a chicken burrito which was, at best, average. Because the prices were so high, I simply got a side of rice because of the prices. The rice and beans were kind of 'blah,' meaning no real taste.
    We won't be returning.

Came here on Cinco De Mayo and was completely disappointed. Not only was my one margarita and a taco salad $17.95 it was probably one of the most bland meals I've had in quite awhile. Their salsa served when you sit down, no taste at all. That's always my favorite part too. The salad had mediocre flavor, it had basic lettuce, some beans, chicken, rice, and then sour cream on top. Nothing fancy to it at all. I had to ask for a beverage menu and for silverware. Besides that the service was nice and friendly. They checked on me throughout the time I was there making sure all was good. They were busy and still all smiling which is why I give them 2 stars for having good customer service. Otherwise I don't recommend. Their menu is overpriced, no matter how much the selection they have and there is no flavor. I could have sworn I took pictures of my food I'm sorry! But I promise it wasn't anything special!

We were a little skeptical after reading the other reviews. But we were looking for a new Mexican place. So we thought not everyone has the same taste and we would try it.  We went on a weeknight, which is our norm. I hate to wait on the weekend. We got seated right away. And chips came right after. The house salsa is a little bland. My wife ordered a taco salad with pork. It was just the right size with big chunks of pork, she was very happy with it. I ordered the fish tacos. The fish is Halabit and was grilled, not deep-fried. I prefer grilled. Nice chunks of fish. Definitely, the best fish tacos I have had so far in the area. Will definitely be going back.

We get take out often from here and it's always hot and fresh. Love that the chicken is all white meat. Our favorites include enchiladas, Chile relleno, chimichanga and menudo. Enchiladas are packed with tasty chicken and cheese. The Chile relleno is an actual pepper filled with cheese. Other Juan Colorado's make an omelet filled with peppers and cheese (gross!). They have menudo all the time and have 2 sizes. Yes it is a little spendy, but you do receive huge portions.

Why is this location twice as expensive as the Hillsboro location? Sure it's a nice building but with each over priced bite you feel like you're paying their rent. Service was ok and the food wasn't on par with their Hillsboro location. Disappointed.
